Ultra Music Festival raises the bar for Electronic Festivals in the US!!

If you love electronic music and did not make it to Miami this March...what were you thinking?!
Ultra Music Festival capped off a week long series of events in Miami that is now being called Miami Music Week.  The festival kicked off Day 1 with electronic favorites like Tiesto, Loco Dice, Carl Cox and even mixed in some rock for the more mature crowd with Duran Duran performing for the sold out Miami crowd.
Things heated up Saturday with more electronic acts on a beautiful sun drenched Miami day.  Empire of the Sun and Underworld performed live for a raucous crowd, and Fedde Le Grand ripped through the Carl Cox tent and kept the people dancing.  Sunday's festivities wrapped up Ultra with Armin Van Buuren's 500th radio show, and pop favorites like David Guetta and Sean (Pdiddy) Combs.

The energy and the crowd in Miami at Ultra is unmatched! People helping each other out, making new friends, even helping a man in a wheel chair rise above the crowd and make his way to the main stage. This was a drama free festival at it's best.

Miami Music week itself is a must attend for music enthusiasts, and next year is going to be no different! Ultra Music Festival and Miami Music Week is already slated for March 20-March 25th, 2012. So whether you prefer the amazing festival itself, or like to spend days by a pool and nights at some of the hottest clubs in the country like Liv and Mansion, book your flights early this time, you wont want to miss 2012!!
